Point to Jesus
We LOVE kids! and in everything we do we want to show our kids the love of God. To point them to the One, True God so they can experience His love and grace.
We join with parents to make sure the kids are getting well-rounded teaching and instruction. Our goal is that your child will have a lasting relationship with Jesus.
with opportunities and resources to promote spiritual growth through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
Excursion Hour (9:00-9:45 AM)
Children break into small groups for individual attention. Competent and loving teachers present practical Biblical truths at a level the children can understand.
King's Island Kids' Church (10:00-11:30 AM) *Resumes September 11
Each week is an adventure at Kings Island for Grades K-6th as the children learn about the love of God. The Bible is brought to life through high-energy worship music, interactive teaching, and live drama that is sure to make Sunday a highlight of your child’s week. King’s Island runs from September through May with Excursion Hour running all year long.
Wild & Wonderful Wednesdays (September-June | 7:00-8:30PM)
The Wednesday evening program during the fall, winter and spring, for Grades 1st-5th, combines small group devotional time with Kids’ Praise Children’s Choir, followed by “Game Time.” During game Time kids learn drama, dance, or team building skills, which are used on Sundays in Kings Island or the adult service. In the winter and spring months we focus on preparations for our annual spring concert which happens in May.
Summer Blast (June-August | 7:00-8:30PM)
Every Wednesday is a little different during Summer Blast. We start with a lesson based on a devotional theme and then head out for a fun summer activity. We have played: laser tag, capture the flag, gym games, scavenger hunt, relay races and the Amazing Race where teams search all over the church property for clues in an “Amazing Race” to the finish. We finish the night with ice cream, fruit popsicles or some other fun summertime snack. It is definitely a Summer Blast!
Storytime At Bethesda (11:00-11:45 AM)
On the second Thursday of each month, toddlers and preschoolers gather for Storytime at Bethesda, a fun opportunity to sing, wiggle and read together with friends and family. Designed for children ages 1-4, each 45-minute session features:
• Readings about people in the Bible
• Songs with lots of movement
• Crafting or coloring.
No registration is required, but we ask parents and other“responsible adults” to remain with their children for the entire session. And with this in mind, younger and older children are also welcome to attend. You can even pack a lunch and eat together with the whole group afterwards.
