“Everybody can be great. Because everybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve. You don’t have to know about Plato and Aristotle to serve. You don’t have to know Einstein’s theory of relativity to serve. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics and physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace… A soul generated by love.”

—Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

• Technical
Our services and live events would not happen without the hard work and dedication that goes on behind the scenes. Our team of trained volunteers coordinates all facets of the technical side of our live events at Bethesda from stage design and fabrication to audio, video, lighting, and production. Those individuals interested in serving on our tech team should be able to complete tasks in a timely manor, love of problem solving, and have a strong work ethic. The ability to find a light switch in 40 minutes or less and enjoy a little sarcasm is a strong plus!
• Arts
The desire of our worship teams is to create an atmosphere that brings glory and focus to Jesus Christ, models an attitude of worship, and uplifts and challenges those of the congregation. This not only requires a certain level of ability but also a commitment to unity and teamwork.
